READER'S CHOICE
You've been listening to me prattle on for 9 days about some of the books and authors I've loved this year. Today is your day! Tell me about the books you've read this year that really floated your boat. Or blew your skirt up. Or, well, you know, that you liked.
Doesn't have to be crime fiction, even though I'm obsessed with it. I wanna know what you've been reading!
Answer in the comments section and I'll update this post throughout the day with your picks.

Devil in the White City, The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Charley’s Web by Joy Fielding. I know there were more but I can’t think of them off the top of my head.
A Day in the Life of Your Brain – By: Judith Horstman
A fascinating book for the aspiring neuroscientist, or weekend NPR nerd alike. A journey through the inner workings of your brain during a single 24hour period. Ms. Horstman is also a delightful, eloquent, accomplished woman and it was a pleasure to meet her this year.
Holly, I am really enjoying your picks, and have added several to my “Must Read” list for 2011.
My favorite crime novel of the year was Chris Grabenstein’s Rolling Thunder, but my favorite read of 2010 was Confessions of a Prairie Bitch by Alison Arngrim.
