Errr, I mean container garden.
Ahhh, it’s spring, that glorious time of year when I make a trip to the local nursery and buy new plants for my balcony container garden that will eventually die from neglect.
This is a blossom from my nectarine tree, which I’ve had for several seasons but have yet to get any nectarines from:
Here is the tree itself. I love it, and it keeps coming back each year. The fruit should come in July. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

And finally, the real reason for this post, before I got sidetracked by my gardening:
These are my Springtime Stack rings. They are hand-fabricated in 18k gold and bezel set with pink tourmaline (left), diamond (center) and peridot (right). While they were made to be worn together as a set, they are pretty on their own as well, especially the diamond. They are some of the best examples of my work to date.
I’m left wondering how your nectarines are coming this year. Are you still growing them in 2008? How did they turn out last year?
Are you sure that pot is large enough? It looks like you might want to attempt to transfer it to something slightly larger if you’re still having issues.

Good tips and advice. Fertilizer can make ALL the difference.
Hey if I can finally grow and herb garden, you should be able to get a necterine or two. But you might not be getting them because the bees are not pollenating it or something. That is a nessessity. Do you fertilize it with citrus tree fertilizer? That might help too. Especially if you have had it in the same soil all these years. And please excuse my spelling.
Ok, first. Those rings are BEAUTIFUL! gush-gush-gush. Amazing work Holly, I adore them. I smell a mothers day gift commision. You know I’m a sucker for rings.
Next, I kill everything. Every year I plant new things (like you) and every year they kick the bucket. It’s so frusterating. Especially when everything my dear mother-in-law touches sprouts and blooms instantly. I blame our big trees and not enough sun.
