Today was our first day in London and it was spent entirely “researching” for my novel. We started at the Royal Exchange and the Tower of London, which was swarming with tourists.

The picture below is of the Old Cock Tavern, which is mentioned in Samuel Pepys’ Diary in1665. The original was located on the other side of Fleet Street.

More research to be done tomorrow, and we are planning to see Graham and Sadie for dinner.
